"When the demand is there" is the stock reply….although it's clear the demand IS there, they just seem to like giving folk a limited choice.

Choice is the heart of the laissez -faire capitalist philosophy. A little re-think required on these small stadium issues.

Today's gate of 10,108 was a record attendance for the stadium.

Well done to the supporters and to Pete Whiteley for ensuring this was possible.

I wonder if that’s the biggest crowd Maidenhead have ever played in front of?

Good to get the ground record attendance even if there were plenty of sold seats unused.

I thought we no longer did that practice of tickets sold that Carson started ? I thought we now counted turnstile numbers.

Bit of a fudge really

I found it a bit bizarre that there was a large area of unoccupied seats in the family stand. If it was a case of individuals or families not being able to make you’d expect them to be dotted around the stadium. That was one hell of a big family.

I think Carson changed it back to ‘in attendance’ before Covid struck and then it got changed back again ‘allocated’ when the Trust took over.

Isn’t tickets sold a national league requirement? Hence why Halifax v Oldham was announced as 1500ish when it blatantly wasn’t.

Common place in the EFL - some of the attendances claimed are daft

I saw something on Twitter Bradford announced a 16k one the other week with less than 6k actually in the ground. Incredible

Rotherham's recent attendances have been more than double the actual attendees.

I’ve been twice this season in the hospitality at work. Both times the crowd has been declared over 10k to a fair few laughs around the ground. Assume the ground holds just more than ours I’d said it wasn’t much more than 50% full both times. The West Brom game in particular was potentially even less

Bradford have 15,054 season ticket holders, at a cost at little over £190 for the smallest price Adult.
Presumably a good portion of them hardly ever go.

Great that they have so many but that is the downside with cheap season tickets

Mansfailed still only manage 8,150 at home and that included 519 Gillingham fans.

Maximum they can fit in?

Might finally be time to put a temporary thing along the side in that derelict stadium of theirs.

For me, no matter the price of the season ticket, I'd try and attend every game I can. I knew of one Manchester United supporter who bought a season ticket for him and his wife to attend the games over Christmas and the New Year when they went home to stay with relatives. Each to their own, I suppose.
