Remembering you've repeatedly and consistently endorsed the Lib' Dem's who shredded their manifesto to leap into bed with the Tories, Ian.
Seems to me the more you rub your hands together hoping for a Labour implosion, the better they do at the polls...
That one again, done to death... it was months of uncertainty as a minority govt struggled, jump into bed with Labour who came a distant second, or join the party who got most votes and add some ying to their yang.
No, I'm just cautioning that we all remember the Kinnock year when Labour couldnt lose - but didnt. And you kept saying feet on ground, we havent won yet... but now you seem to think you have! Except we havent had an election yet, and even when we have getting in power is the easy bit, doing something good afterwards will be a whole lot harder....
There is only one poll that matters. April inflation out shortly, interest rate decisions in May or June following that.... its not over till the fat lady sings...
(and the LDS did proportionately as well as Labour at the locals in terms of seats won... and the SNP have a new leader who ought to be able to stop some of the rot north of the border)

Yeah, I get that.
But everyone realises this is just a short term stunt to embarrass Sunak and, perhaps, draw a few Tory voters towards Labour.
Does anyone honestly think the uber hypocrite low life Elphick will turn up at branch meetings? Be anything but an amusing memory after the election?
Nah, mate...
PS: seem to remember Blair accepting support from Tebbit before the '97 election (part of a policy to get computers into every school, from memory)...
B****Y hell, did Blair tear up the manifesto to get elected there or is working together for the greater good actually what politics is supposed to be about and not tribal warfare as some of you seem to prefer?
Stay Home. Stay Safe.
