Another Spireite gone at the age of 34!

A friend to all and a nicer man you could not wish to meet.

If you didn't know him personally he was a Greenkeeper at Grassmoor and other other local golf clubs.

I last saw him at the Derbyshire Yorkshire T20 and despite a termimal prognosis he was full of fight and humour!

Go safe my friend....totally gutted!!!

Ahhh **** I’ve known Sibbo years but not seen him for a while as I know he fell out with Town. Didn’t know he was ill or anything.

Poor guy,

B****Y hell, we used to travel to games together then lost contact when he lost interest in Town and he decided to support Man Utd and Worksop Town. Probably last spoke in person when we went to Lester's last game together. Still occasionally kept up plenty of good-natured jousts on twitter. Had no idea about his illness. Very sad news.

Very sad news. Knew Jonno from playing golf as a junior at Grassmoor. Always up for a good chat about football and the golf, although he was never wrong! A great character taken way too soon.
