    It's always been my opinion that the stick he gets is unwarranted and the fact he's the one that doesn't give up on lost causes and keeps trying to get the ball while the others watch usually means he's the one there when there is a goal conceded.

    Yes there's maybe twice when he's been "at fault" but there's a lot of mistakes that have been made and not many trying harder to fix them.

    Leadership on and off the pitch is by all accounts excellent and the fact he'd even give his hair to help someone else says everything we need in a captain. I think he might play less this year but for me I'm not worried, I would like someone fast next to him though.

    Makes you appreciate how good crouch was, Hudlin was worth a gamble for a big club but it does seem like Hudders flushed 250k down the drain
