Hi Sammy we've ended up taking 2 coaches but I did speak to the club to make them aware that the demand for their coaches was likely to be higher as a result, coupled with the fact that we are leaving at 2.00 pm, cheers Paul.

Good news.

I’ll be following the first half in some way or other from Corfu airport and unless the flight gets delayed, will catch up with the second half 3.5hours later when we land in Manchester!

Gonna be a tense flight!

Got a spare terrace ticket as I am now unable to attend. Available to be collected in Wingerworth if anyone wants it.

Obviously far too early to talk about this but let's do it anyway. The away end has a capacity of around 1000 and there are some 500 designated away seats. I had a look at buying home tickets last week and I am pretty sure they are only allocating half the end for away fans so we look like only getting 1000. Taking into account player and staff requirements there will probably be not much more than 900 for sale.
Home areas have now sold out so demand will far exceed supply and the Club will need to manage it very carefully.
In the circumstances it would be a great problem to have but a problem nonetheless.
Big potential also for many ticketless Spireites travelling to a ground unused to managing such occasions and taking the opportunity to gain access by, pardon me, unorthodox methods often used by our friends in the North West.

Home ends sold out?

I thought they were just showing unavailable until season ticket holders had their opportunity to buy

No it’s correct, home end sold out

1000 ain’t gonna go far if we are good enough to get there

Time is everyone setting off? One of the few local grounds I’ve not been to!

Looks like it’s park nearby snd walk? Any food nearby?

I parked at Eureka last time, 5 mins walk into Piece Hall (which is actually decent for a drink/bite to eat), town centre a further 5 mins walk from there. Car Park itself is only about a 10 min walk to ground, it's all fairly nicely located.

I'm leaving work in Leeds at 5.30 so hoping to be parked up in time for some food somewhere too. Ring O'Bells by the Euereka Car Park apparently does decent pub grub

Last time we played them in the League - we virtually outnumbered them and 3 parts of the ground was very sparse if not empty. So I dont know where they have suddenly got all their "Home" fans from. I guess it could be local Brum fans supporting them now that their season is over.

Someone has shared an email from the club on Facebook saying that tickets cannot be colllected from Halifax.

Thought I’d mention it as I know some exiles usually do exactly that for away games.

Bit of a ****house trick after it being said that you can collect, and the fact they offered collection the other week. Stinks of them playing silly bu**ers. I think this will catch a few out, especially as our club didn't offer postage either

I don't think we'll find out, but they'll sell out so quickly not all ST holders who want one will get one.

Even if it meant one of the directors/trust board members standing next to their ticket office/window with a few envelopes for an hour they should be doing it.

I went to pick my tickets up on Friday afternoon. There was a queue and the staff ,including D.. Pete, we’re having problems finding some of the tickets. They were asking people to pick up from the Halifax ticket office. If Halifax are being awkward about this then you would expect a member of CFC staff to be outside their ticket office as some of those people will not read this forum.
