Agreed, since according to Big Al on Facebook it’s Aldershot that kicked off about playing on Thursday.

Given that he's only got a fortnight left anyway, and assuming he's still on it, I would expect our Mr. Thacker to resign from the league's management committee in protest.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Wasn't it said (a bit early I may still be dreaming) that he was on said committee as an independent and not a CFC rep.

Anyway this integrity claim intrigues me with it creating so many injured parties.

Would the team have being staying overnight? More than likely, therefore who compensates the hotel and coach company, can these be rebooked easily.

Will CFC want to stay overnight for the Monday fixture as is normal? If so will the players having been on a 2 dayer to Wealdstone be expected to give up their family time on Sunday to travel, not good for moral if so.

What about the Supporters at least 2 coaches booked, who compensates these coach companies for cancellation? Are they available to re book? Can folk rearrange works holidays at such short notice? What about folk who have booked none refundable train tickets and hotels (there are some).

Why the f... can't the aldershot game be played on Thursday?

Maybe to enhance their claim of integrity the NL management could finance a compensation package to the injured parties from the misappropriated funds they gathered from the governments covid package. Now that episode and the ensuing inquiry exuded INTEGRITY, not.

See that the NL also have just made a decision up regarding slough town. Slough winning after 70 mins 4-2, game abandoned due to medical emergency in crowd. The NL have decided to award 3 points to slough but not include goals in goal difference columns…..never been done before.

Hang on. At the turn of the year I realised I hadn't missed a game this season mainly due to the entertainment factor,it crossed my mind I had only seen every game in a season once (70/71) and this was an opportunity to repeat it. There was one nemesis though I'd sworn I would never go to Bromley again, anyway I bit the bullet doned some old shoes (for latrine purposes) and suffered the indignity again. So I ain't giving up now.

Had actually considered going when I got back from work….now, no chance as I’m up at 530 to go to London.

Can’t wait to get out. #tinpot

Watched Wealdstone last night whose aspiration was to get into this ‘hell hole’ and is now to stay in it. Even their commentators were taking the urine out the National League

Massive contempt for Town fans from the National League. These people claim integrity when, in realty, they have very little. Great inconvenience and loss of money all round.

Heavy hint by Webb that more youngsters will be involved than would be normal. If that is the case hopefully it will be against Gateshead that will be the weakened team. Let’s face it the National League has already jeopardised the integrity of the competition.

I’m sure CPS will be on his high horse if it transpires

For many reasons fill want to go.A non attendance by fans will have zero impact on the Vanamara Nutters League Management

Had a nice email from Gateshead offering a refund, apologies and good wishes for the future.
Class act well done.

We should be used to that by now!!!

I'm still intrigued to find out what solution they'll come up with for the Halifax oldham game if they can find a venue that is (does Strangeways have a sports field?). If they continue with the integrity  route they'll have to play it Wednesday, therefore they'll have to inconvenience Tuesdays opponents and upset Accy with bringing the game forward.
Do the National League have an end of season p... up? The mind boggles.

Aldershot then, or NL incompetency?

Aldershot didn't want to go there Thursday night ahead of an early KO on Saturday.

Maybe they are adhering to some 48 hour rule about kickoff times. It would a first for them, adherence to rules that is. Seems unlikely that two and a half ours would make much difference but you can’t blame Aldershot for trying. Only one culprit and we all know who that is
