Same price as least year mate so that's not the reason

Did they all go last season? It is recent though they went from £150 to £250?? I used to sponsor a shirt for many years but haven't for about 6-7 years.

If and it is a big if that the sponsors have left solely because of Evans then that is a daft thing to say.

Evans and by extension his father in law will be gone soon and there is no guarantee that the sponsors will drift back upon his departure

I'm being flippant azul. I'm sure certain people are in denial about some of the reasons sponsors have left. My living for the moment comment stands though. Just what is the long term thinking at the club?

They have increased the players shirt sponsor from about £150 to £250 I believe? That's the reason for the lack of interest. I'd rather them price it right and have them all sponsored then not even half of them. Doesn't look good when looking at the programme.

Everything in and around the club have increased dramatically cost wise - that surely shows how desperate things are getting. Not a chance in hell of any deals being offerred to tempt dissillusioned folks.

To return to the polemic of the thread, the programme contents, far more bewildering than the Chairman's vague comments is the two page spread covering the CFC International Academy.

Y'know, that same CFC International Academy that's nowt to do with CFC.

Or so we keep being told.

Wonder if they pay for the advertising in the same way other 'nowt to do with CFC' enterprises are required.

Another thing, too.

A mate's told me how he and his daughters decided at the last minute to go to the Walsall game, only to then baulk at the extra two quid each they were asked to pay.

So instead of getting sixty notes CFC got, well, nowt.

Meanwhile another mate was gonna be charged an extra three quid when he phoned for a ticket yesterday - two because it was a match-day and another one 'cos it was over the phone.

And Allen wonders why folk are staying away...

Who'd have thought employing the worst 'manager' in football, signing a load of old crocks and has beens, insulting the fanbase, serving up dross football, selling all the decent players, and not reinvesting whilst hiking up the cost of said matchday experience wouldn't have the fans streaming through the turnstiles?

Everybody but the three wise monkeys apparently.

This club is that far out of touch with its paying customers, it's absolutely beyond belief..........yet they think the pricing & add on's are justified.......screw you paying customer, we don't givie a flying crap about what you think.

How far this club has gone backwards in just 2 years is incredible

Thankfully I missed yesterday's game due to gazing across the Med at the glorious view of the Albanian mountains from Corfu. But I echo your last line.. It is truly bewildering isn't?
The fans brought into the club big time, 7000 crowds, full hospitality, lots of income etc etc..but it's been completely loused up by a financial overseer having absolutely no idea of how much was outgoing. A person so far detracted from the day to day financial on goings that we ended up losing millions during one of the most successful times in our clubs history. I simply cannot believe we still employ a CEO who seems so far devoid of ideas into what's happened and still happening in terms of losing revenue. It's absolutely mindboggling.
