Dulwich would be way more ready than Crystal Palace which has been neglected for over a decade.

Perhaps it is but it ain’t big enough and doesn’t meet the EFL’s standards

Yep it’s close but would need so much work done to get it up to scratch - can never see it happening- I’d imagine Dulwich Hamlet a better option

Doubt that ground would meet the EFL entry criteria. Whether they would waive those for a few games who knows. Hope not, Clarevoyant would be apoplectic.

    With his funny arms

How would you describe him? I thought he was a striker

He is a tidy footballer and has some pace. Seen him play on the right and more centrally as a striker. Not sure he is capable of scoring the goals that Berry scored for us from deep positions. All Macclesfield games are on YouTube so you can watch him if you have the patience. Plenty of noise about him but is is hard to imagine him plying his trade two full leagues above the one we will be in next season. I always find it hard to judge players at different levels but I think it would definitely a speculative signing. I wouldn’t see him or Berry as being particularity cheap options considering the risk.

Bailey Hobson was 22 on 1st August 2023 I believe. So, he was 21 before 1st January 2024 and counts towards our 22 man squad of outfield players. I tend to think he could perform as the “one” if needed and possibly better than Berry.

I’m yet to see anything from Hobson apart from running around a lot

S&D watched him last night and described him as a Berry clone

I have watched Drummond on a few highlights and he doesn’t look like a clone of Berry

Yes - but I meant Crystal Palace National Sports Stadium like Claire said ?

Isn’t it close to Bromley, nearer than any league club anyway and they won’t have to wait for the fixture lists before they schedule games. Makes some sense if true.
