2m = 40k per year for a working man from 16 to 66. Obviously, you'd have to take tax differences in to account etc. He may have invested well? For this day. Who knows.

He's probably spent a lot of it, but if he doesn't live a high life then you're probably right.

given the fact that the lad is a devout muslim, i doubt very much that he's been blowimg the lot on birds booze and betting so the interest alone off a couple of million should keep in sandals
