New ground for me, been told Maidstone is a decent town for a few beers. That was me sold. Hopefully I’ll have had enough to not be too fussed about the match come 3pm

We’ve played at Maidstone Three times.
We’ve won their twice 1-0
And...
Lost the other time 1-0.
1989 and 1991 when we played the three games there, the last time being Boxing Day 1991 (1-0 Win with a crowd of 1325).

I had my stag do down there back in June as Wifes brother lives down there. Was a good day/night out. Plenty of places to drink.

My mate got ours last week its going to be a terrible long trek home if we don't win there. I hope I can sleep it off in the back seat, we've not had a joyful return trip since Ebbsfleet, its even worse going home after we've lost at the Proact. Will it ever end its so depressing.

We've actually never played at Maidstone the 3 games above all being at Dartford

Yeah - I should have used the word against (away fixture) and not “at”.

Will be good to visit somewhere different, although not keen on seeing us on a plastic pitch, increases the chances of another disaster.
Incidentally Watling Street Darford was demolished after Maidstone folded
