Not sure. According to the jungle drums, he left the Spain post due to family reasons that were known to their FA and the situation had worsened. His assistant has taken charge for the last 3 games already.

Hull... another precarious managers position for anyone due to a loose cannon of a chairman.

Maybe Monk will have had his fill of that.

Not sure what's going on at Hull, were supposed to be up for sale after owners failure to rebrand them as Hull city tigers.

Gary Monk favourite

A quick look at relegation odds reveal are rather over generous 7/2

The list of odds for various folk makes bad reading if you are a Newcastle fan...take out the names that they dont have a chance of getting and it doesnt leave a lot. Wouldnt put it past Ashley to give it Pardew for a year seeing as he still technically has 1 year left on his contract as Newcastle manager from his last stint!!

Next Newcastle manager odds:
Garry Monk - 11/2
Eddie Howe - 7/1
Gennaro Gattuso - 10/1
Jose Mourinho - 12/1
Chris Hughton - 14/1
Patrick Viera - 16/1
Marcelo Bielsa - 20/1
David Moyes - 20/1
Arsene Wenger - 20/1

I reckon Moyes would be the perfect fit for them just now.
