Additionally, as someone who has been very critical of Cook all season and, judging by this thread, is going to continue to be, will you give him any credit for how we did overall or is it going to be more snipes from the sidelines moving forward instead of supporting somebody who knows more about football than this entire board put together?

He’s not good enough for our squad, that’s the truth. Whether he is sometime in the future or whether his CFC time will be at an end I’ll let Cook decide.

He doesn't look good enough for us in the games he has played and not pulled up any trees whilst out on loan. I would say it's a choice between him or Jes who is not the finished product but has been pushing for a 1st team place nearly all season.

Maybe he’s seen the player in training and thought for every good bit (that might be on you tube) there’s a bad bit and for all his potential there’s a lot learn and that might be best done by playing games regularly on loan and it sat in the stands here on match day because he isn’t ready to play first team football at the top end of this division

What happens is players every day report for training and do the sessions put on by manager/coaches/trainers.
Some players do them well some less so. Some players react well to certain sessions others less so.
What then happens is the manager will see who he feels has done the best and will fit into his team/squad and benefit the team best.

Hi Josh, well someone where we'd lost Dallas Saturday would have stretched there defence ,anyone who can score 3 At wrectum, can't be half bad, granted somehow he's lost his way ,or after cookie signed him , hardly given him much chance,he's got his favourites like wiggly quiggly as a striker couldn't score in a brothel,

Well if he's not performed in training, and he hasn't performed on loan...? He's been a poor signing (Cook's fault) but you can't blame him for not playing him if he's not lived up to his potential. I don't think Quigley is a favourite, he's just working with what he's got although I'd definitely have had McCallum over him on the bench for Wembley.

Both McCallum and Quigley were on the bench.
Cook brought Quigley on instead, though, and Joe ran his nuts off with absolutely no help at all up front.

We've hardly seen him. My only recollection is he had a good spell at Boston and took his goal very well. But that being the only recollection probably says it all.

I think it's highly likely that Cook knew that McCallum, Whelan, and Fitz would be leaving and on principle wouldn't pick them, except that he was stuffed by the Fitz/Covolan situation and had to make an exception.
