If you had asked me for player of the season in January it would have been Naylor easily for me with Mandeville second, now we’re coming down to it I’d be happy with it being Grigg and an honourable mention for Dobra as well who has shown more consistency this season than last.

Over the season we have a number of candidates IMO

Mandeville, his all round contribution RB, attacking midfield, goals and assists but stuttered after illness at Xmas

Tyrer despite a couple of blips at the start has been very consistent

Grigg , whilst not a "Jack Lester" creating goals with ji ky rums, Grigg does what he does best , Scores goals.
His positional play goes unnoticed and hold up play has been excellent

Naylor for me is player of the season and not seen anyone better in that position in the league this season.
Combined with a personal season best in goals, he has been outstanding and for someone in that poshe has been available game in game out, only a suspension and a rest the reason for not playing.
Signing of the summer and player of the Year for me

Though shall not critic Will Griggs dribbling skills pace or ability to score outside the six yard box on this message board else you will be cast away for eternity to field mill till the end of your days, though shall be able to critic any other player though...this is the way.

Foolish man. I suppose your reasoning also rules out players such as Ian Rush as he scored most from inside the six yard box

Anybody who thinks anything other than Naylor is player of the season is bonkers, Naylor has been head and shoulders our best player and the best player in the national league as well.

Tickle my tìts and call me Mr Bonkers, then. Will Grigg it is, for me (admittedly, Naylor has been top drawer, too. Fine additions, the pair of em).
