Just been looking at the new stadium and my thoughts turned to the last 40 years of watching my team at Saltergate and all the cherished memories I have.

Some of the highlights over the years:

Getting promotion in 1969.
Beating Rangers
Beating Reading at Home 7-1.
Our victory over Nottingham Forest in the Cup.
The Wrexham quater final win.
Glyn Hursts goal to keep us in Div1.
My Son being mascot against Luton Town in December 1997 being my Dad's last game.
Beating Mansfield 5-2
There are many more................

I don't know about anyone else but the final league game at Saltergate is going to be tinged with many emotions.

 Oh I'll still have the fond memories but I'm afraid the "old girl" has had her day and is well beyond her useful life.Time to put her to sleep in the kindest possible way-------with promotion.

Getting promotion in 2011 to the npower Championship
Beating Celtic
Beating Chelsea 4-0
Our victory over Nottingham Forest in the Cup.
The Manchester Utd game in the quarter final
Josh Smith goal to keep us in Premier League
Beating Mansfield 10-0

Should be interesting to see. I've already spoke to one fan who's prepared to go up to a grand for it.
