Well yes basically because you have to invest properly in any business to improve its fortunes. Success normally involves an element of 'speculate to accumulate' but the vision of the Chesterfield board doesn't extend there. The result is more and more fans being turned away by an apparent lack of ambition which has been underlined by poor results.
