I'm sure he'd have to be signed as an emergency loan and could play if the paperwork was concluded in time (so we may yet dally around and leave us once again threadbare for this week).

Listening to 'Waffler' Laws, it seems his future's not at Hillsborough and he's available longer term. Seems a bit of a 'win-win' situation here; we get to have a look at him between now and the end of the season, he has the opportunity to bag a few goals and earn himself a contract either with us or someone else.

He's a big strong lad, probably just what we need to replace a weary Chief. The 'goals scored' part of his CV is cause for concern, doubtless it would look much healthier if it were to include a purple patch of season saving goals scored for us...

Hope that Laws will release him from his contract then and has the ability to score on frequent basis at this level.

We can still sign loan players and we have until 3hrs before kick off to get the paperwork sorted.

Spoken to a couple of Owls i know and apparently he is big but not the quickest so probably a younger version of Chief. I think he has had limited chances at Wednesday with most of his 16 appearances being 10/15mins from the bench and he has had a few injury problems as well.

Listing to Laws it sounds as though he is on his way out of Hillsboro so get him in, see how he does and one to look at in the summer if he does well.

I get the feeling that the Wendies fans liked him also.

He's a grafter I hear. Mind you, few could question Colin Larkin's effort..

I cant see him getting Corr to score many goals, more likely to play a supporting role for Ward or whoever is upfront like Chief does.

Not as yet. Training with us with a view to signing a loan deal which i suspect may be timed to ensure it covers as many games as possible.

A number of the Wednesday fans where I work (unfortunately in the middle of Sheffield) seemed to know about it, though the opinion of them all was that Core is a waste of space and would be glad to see the back of him. If we are to sign him then am happy to give him the chance to prove himself, but am not sure that this is really the type of player we need at the moment to get us out of our present predicament.

I dont know anything about him, so if we do get him on loan then I will save my judgement until I have seen him play.

I doubt there's a convincing medical explanation as to why, but the words "You do not figure in my plans; your future lies elsewhere..." might, in this case, have miraculous healing qualities..

Could help then if we got the same doctor to visit MacF's first choice, second choice and third choice 'cos then we could end up with a new strike force which is what we really need.

Dreaming - but if they then made good young Ward could play on the left of midfield and we might begin to see a few goals.

Thanks for that...

Just hope he is good enough to help us get out of this current situation that we are in

How come Sheff Wed can tell their fans but town won't tell us who they have??

See he has the nickname: Big Bad Bazza Corr
