I wouldnt see why not as its not exactly gonna be a sell out, but I would phone the club just to make sure.

i've asked a few mates and they've said not after recent performances. That just shows what people think we will do from here on in.

While your being facetious we are losing out on their revenue. Maybe if clowns like you addressed the situation instead of defending any old crap things would change.

Supporters arent the mugs you and the board think they are.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

And what exactly are you doing to "address the situation"? The usual whining about everything with a bit of name-calling thrown in? If you can't rise to actually supporting the team you might at least spare us the abuse of those who do. Pathetic.

It seems to me your point was to slag of Alex's friends rather than look at the issues of why, even when its discounted, they dont want to come. You may live in a utopian world where your money can be wasted watching tripe but many others cant.

You're another blame the fans merchant.

I emailed Doncaster about a problem with tickets when we played them away earlier in season and got a response.

If I dont get a response, it just shows what they think of supporters and dont deserve peoples money, and then they will moan about the amount of fans that have up taken up the special offer

I wearly defend myself from a 'fan'...

I don't see how they can expect a team that was, only a few years ago, on the verge of extinction to be put together with any amount of money?
Whilst I can understand constructive criticisms and suggestions which take into account the reality of the situation we are in. I hate the kind of gloating, look at me I'm right, "I told you Mac was crap", isn't it great I can prove you all wrong, my friends aren't supporeting us anymore, kind of mentality.
Not coming to the games is hardly going to put more money into the club. Which we will need regardless of who the manager and players are. Otherwise we slip inot a downward spiral...
Slag someone off? I'm saying we need there support now! Not only in the cup games. Don't we?

Its a vicious circle I agree but imho its the club that is going to have to break it. Fans have shown in the past that they will turn up if the fare on offer is good enough. Beaing beaten fair and square I can accept but the lack of effort and nous that is being shown currently I cant accept and neither can alot of fans who arent going to spend money to feel as dejected as I did on Friday.

Talking to people I know, the biggest problem they have is not with losing per se its the atmosphere around the club that noone seems to be addressing the plight which we are in. The manager continues with his excuses and the board remain silent having seemingly misled CFSS members who voted for them to take over the club.

You espouse our previous problems and while they arent to be discounted they happened over 5 years ago. How long are they to be used as an excuse? Another 5 years, 10 or 15 maybe? The club could have been put up for sale and marketed as a going concern but it hasnt and we find ourselves no better off. The excuses are there for people to use but I prefer to look for things that are going to move the club forward. Ironically i'm called the negative one.

I know for a fact that TF goes to all the home games and a lot of away matches and for that reason is entitled to say whatever he likes as he can comment on what he sees unlike some that come on here that probably dont go very often.

I would consider myself the forever optimist but even i'm getting very anxious about what is happening at the club we support and thats not just on the field.

Something must be done NOW (fans need to stick together, players need to play like they did against Forest and the board need to help out financially).

Why do you think fans are no longer turning out??
Why do you think the they are not coming to support the club??
Why do you think people are getting more and more frustrated with the club and backroom staff??

The ones i asked have been to many league games including the cup run for your information

So your saying that as long as we are successful, however relative that might be, they'll come, but when we really need a boost as we are down staring relegation in the face, they won't come?

My personal opinion is that the situation we are in hasnt just happened overnight. We have been just surviving for a while now and I think people have a sort of charity fatigue. The board are relying on fans attending no matter what happens on or off the pitch and I think fans are starting to question their own commitment to what can be a very expensive hobby.
