This might be the right moment to do some maintenance on your signature :ninja:

As one of the many out-of-work-and-therefore-cheap managers about at the moment I expect Blackwell will be linked with us in the event that RM ceases to be our manager. As will Colin Todd, Alan Knill and their like. Relying on folk like that to get us out of this position is about as depressing as being in it in the first place.

do you think he would be any better than what we have, given our financial restraints? because it didnt at leeds utd

sacking the manager wont make the players suddenly better than they are.

fans keep going on about tactics, but remember the quote from merson. "at this level you constantly have to tell/remind players what you want them to do".

with only 12 or 13 decent players to choose from, your tactics are also pretty limited to plan A.
A new hope.

Did Blackwell do so badly with Leeds? Got them into the playoffs despite their dire finances, and look where they are after sacking him..... not that appointing Dennis Wise was ever going to be a smart move for anyone. Blackwell was s'posed to be a top-quality coach at Sheff U, which is why Leeds took him on. I thought
These go to eleven.

Ah the good Doctor! Thankfully I was abroad for the entire season that culminated in his leaving. Many a disappointed late night phone call ended in disappointment.

Merson isn't really a successful manager at this level tho, is he?
