I had a great day at Tranmere last season, and it was one of the away games I wanted to go to this season, but I can't go now, as its a friday night.

I've always enjoyed a day out to Birkenhead... this first season we went there, some Scouse copper got on our coach ranting about how they had saved us the previous season etc. so we owed them 3 points that afternoon. Generally good day out, nothing wrong with the people etc (Favouring Liverpool in the Prem, always like going up there!)

I do hope for the people travelling, they return the favour with 3 points in grattitude... I can't see it, draw for me I think... I'll keep hoping anyway!

20 comps for the OSC as usual.

Just for the record even though the match was dire I am warming to Friday night football. Yoou get to watch some football and you havent wasted half your weekend like you do when CFC play on Saturday.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

I think he means that if you go by car, train or other bus you have no chance and in my experience that is right.

Not that I have gone to any game expecting to get in for free and on the one occasion it happened with SIFA when I was there mst of the money saved was donated back to the funds.

I wouldn't call two occasions as being 'as usual' and these two occasions just happened to be midweek to Carlisle and yesterday,i don't see this being a regular thing, well its not happened on a regular basis these last two seasons or some time back when i used to travel with the OSC,as these things don't come around on a regular basis i didn't look a gift horse in the mouth,oh and i would imagine there were SIFA members who got a complimentary ticket last night too...btw i bought my ticket for Carlisle.
