I know we have a vital match away at Altrincham to deal with first but having watched Southend v Hartlepool yesterday afternoon if Hartlepool come to play us next monday with the same attacking intent then we are in for a cracking match

bring it on

The Hartlepools will be the closest contenders for the league imo. Southend seem to be causing some issues too.

Gateshead special mention. Could get playoffs. Surprise package.

You'd would hope stewarding is better for Harlepool because they have got some loons as well.

Barnet are the team that stands out for me, they’ve built a decent small squad and look pretty formidable at home.

...and Rochdale. They play neat, accurate football and passed Eastleigh off the park yesterday. Ian Henderson is 38 and still scoring goals, and Kairo Mitchell is, so far, a different player altogether than the lad who did nowt for Town or Notts Co.

If you had been a North Stand steward yesterday, the mob would have steam-rolled you. Big advantage for us all though, it might have knocked some sense into your head!

Stewards and ground safety is the responsibility of those at cfc I would expect to see more bouncer level stewards and the club to pay for more police for the Hartlepool game , Auntie maud and grandad Brian etc will be fine for the rest of the season

I would hope that any Chesterfield fan trying to lay any blame on match day stewards will be offering their services for free for the Hartlepool game to show us all how easy it is to be a steward in front of drunk and or thuggish away fans

Solihull very impressive in the away game to Borehamwood which I watched. Very early to judge anything on the basis of one game, but they were good.

Just watched the highlights of Brunt’s starring role in Barnet’s win over Woking at the weekend. Scored 2 and hit the bar with a great lob.
This league will be no stroll.

Yep, I had that feeling a couple of results in - seeing Barnet gey off to a flyer and Oldham not starting great.
All predictions are out of the window!

I can see York City and Oldham ending up with new managers if their results don’t pick up. We need to keep winning IMO as at the back of my mind I have dejavu of Stockport from 2 seasons back bringing in Challinor and the rest as we say is history 😡

I’d take 4 points happily from the next 2 fixtures.

Stop being pragmatic , 7 points from the next two games at a minimum for the bobs board militia

I think Hartlepool will be one of the 5 games we lose this season.
