'Millwall will be flat, their energy levels will be running low. We will have far more energy than them'

Wow, did he really say that? When was the last time we had more energy than anybody let alone a team on a high after beating the Premier League champions and reaching the cup quarters? Can he really be that clueless?

I'm with you, however did our league form dip 96/97 as a result of our exploits in the cup - I recall they did.

We ended up with a huge fixture backlog and had virtually no squad to speak of.

I recall we went to Brentford on the tuesday after we beat forest in round 5

The match was a non event with the home side winning 3-0

No it was after the semi but before the replay, I went, a totally different side lost 1-0. We entered the field to a standing ovation from the Brentford fans

I assume that as we are appealing it, if it's not done before tomorrow evening then he'll be available tomorrow

If Anderson plays tomorrow and Hird is dropped it will be a clincher re Hirds much debated contract situation
