Brooks "Yes, your honour, Mr Coulson didn't tell me"
Judge "that would make you the most incompetent Chief Executive ever".
Brroks "yes your Honour, that's my defence"
Judge to Coulson "4 years for you my lad"
Judge to Brooks "Not guilty"
Brooks, the most incompetent Chief Executive ever reinstated by Murdoch.
Just sayin' like.

What's the betting we don't get the LED Advertising signs now. Wasn't Fitzgerald key to getting these and the video board in place?

Seems so silly. everyone could tell that it was unlikely to attract many entrants, and when they only had 4 entries they should have just been honest and cancelled the competition. To claim the winner lived in Surrey and could not go because he was ill, and then claim he would instead attend hospitality at some stage just made the situation worse. How he expected to get away with it is beyond me.

Kevin Fitzgerald has departed Chesterfield FC following an internal investigation into the club’s raffle fiasco.
It follows revelations that the winner of a raffle competition for a fan to travel on the club’s pre-season tour of Hungary had been faked.
Chesterfield director and company secretary Ashley Carson said in a statement that the incident had been ‘shameful.’
He said: “Following on from my statement on Monday, I am still reeling from the shameful incident that has attracted nationwide headlines for the football club for all the wrong reasons.
Review of marketing department carried out after raffle farce
“After a thorough internal investigation, I can now confirm that the person responsible for this total farce has now left the football club.
“Kevin Fitzgerald has been a hardworking, respected, likeable employee who has, for some reason, made a massive error of judgement and has subsequently paid the consequences for his actions.
The board were unaware of his actions and have taken swift action after uncovering the truth.
“I do hope that we can look for a replacement to head our commercial department, move forward and pick up the pieces from the whole sorry mess.

An Agenda...
Those present...
Apologies...
Previous minutes...
Then business
Ticket sales and Marketing
Staffing non players, future planning
Staffing players present and possible new players, loans or permanent transfers.
PR......current initiatives, new ideas, new advertising boards.
Ground maintenance, pitch, building... inside, outside,
Update of budget.

Who is Chairman, secretary, accounts/budget.
It is not down to one person. At least 10 people know what is happening.
