Ho hum, another one for the scrapbook. Maybe in 50 years or so people will look back at it when wondering whatever happened to Chesterfield FC before they disappeared

That becomes a big safeguarding issue in that case.
What a joke Town have become

Big?

This is paperwork not submitted correctly, not employing Barry Bennell.

When Sally Swain made a mistake it eventually cost her job! So who is responsible for this and who oversees them? Whoever it is should be sacked but clearly untouchable. If anyone doesn't know why we are now a non league club stirring at the third relegation on the trot its down to the amateurs that run the club

Sally got caught up in the culture that has ruined the club.

On a wind up again ?

This has nothing to do with the academy

Don't be silly

No that is what Sally Swain did, taken over by Michael Dunford and now down to Nigel Smith.

Why? The academy didn't register him, it's all down to the club.

Academies exist only by extremely strict policies by the main club. Any instances of safeguarding - however minor are looked at very carefully

Moondog, can you ask Ashley why we are experiencing these catalogue of errors when the industries which he and David operate in are said to be highly regulated?

The press release begs other questions whish I would be be very grateful if you would forward ....
1. The matter occurred during Dunford's time but came to light after he left. Does anybody know any improvements at all that he oversaw? I defy Carson to articulate exactly what he trusted Dunford with.
2. How was the matter discovered? Was it as a result of the FA doing ongoing investigations into CFC?
3. Is the club, finally, in good standing with the FA?
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Didn't SS just lick some envelopes for Carson?

Thought Donefor was CEO, not Football Administrator?

The same Nigel Smith that came from the FA?

Has Carson relinquished his role of Club Secretary?

Don't take this the wrong way , but are you a Carson sympathiser?

And if it is a safeguarding issue, then John Croot has a lot to answer for CPS.

Errrr no! As far as I've been told previously, Sally was football secretary, with Turner as the CEO. Dunford has previously held the post of football secretary at other clubs so knows whats what. Yes Nigel Smith previously from Derbyshire FA.

Joe signed April 2017, Dunford joined October 2017.

I am sure in an interview there was a comment made to coincide with Nigel Smith's appointment that he had been tasked with conducting a full audit of the players' contracts.

Dunford represented the 'previous football administration sector of the club'.

When did MA find out about the investigation and did it affect his team selection? Did he start picking Joe when he got wind that the matter wasn't serious?

I have heard Ashley refer in conversation to Graham Bean before and assumed they were at least acquaintances.

This certainly paints a different picture concerning Joe's lack of selection.

BTW, I will update the list.

Is he one of Carson's chums? Is it the same Graham Bean whose company went tlts up in 2012 and was personally declared bankrupt in 2015?

Makes you wonder if so many mistakes are made in his other line of work, suppose he tells everyone he does a sterling job.

He's passed the CFC Business Administration test, then.

That’s another £5K we no longer have. Carson just does not care. The club is his own personal cash cow and if a bit falls off along the way he won’t care one bit.

Another 36k gone if we follow up Saturdays failure with defeat at mighty Billericay
