One of the things that dismays me is how Ashmore claims 'game management' is fine, as it is legal, and yet it seems to ruin football as a spectacle in the National League. It doesn't ruin the Prem or EFL, or indeed the Scottish leagues or the EvoStik. Why do we get so short-changed for actual football at Conference level? Is there something about characters like Ashmore who are top semi-pros but never made it into the pro game?

Agree in general but the lower reaches of the EFL are awful too. Maybe lack of exposure to criticism but still very high stakes, fast tracked referees who just don’t cut it. I haven’t noticed it at levels below the NL. This league is the absolute pits for decency

Well that allegation just seemed to fade away. Ashmore didn't actually claim in the interview that there was any racist incident at the Proact, but White kept raising the subject in his own inimitable over-the-top style.

As said before Asmore must've made claims of racial abuse because he tweeted that Ebbsfleet fans video stating "proof" before it was pointed out it was one of thier fans racially abusing a CFC player.

He is either down playing his accusations now or it or it's been lost the fog

I'd say it's less about style, more the culture of modern day commercial media creating a demand for their "product'
