So they secretly go to prison to see the serial child rapist who is serving 35 years, to see if he wants access to the child conceived via rape (of a child) without telling the mother.

Why on Earth would the council get involved it is literally nothing to do with them. If the father of the baby wants to see him he would have to make an application to the court where the case would be judged on its merit. He would also have to make an application for Parental Responsibility.

Blanket denying access of the child's right to know and see their father should not be down to the mother. Whilst in this case it seems reasonable its a slippery slope into a grey area of he said she said.

I also notice the person complaining about this has brought a book out, forgive me if I become a bit cynical about their motives.

I’m more concerned that your not condemning the council for contacting a convicted rapist for access rights to his victims child

Seriously what’s wrong with you?
A new hope.

To think Rotherham Council condemned these girls to the worse possible childhood and now, not content with that, they feel they need to reopen the wounds and start it all over again

It’s astounding

The council needs to go back under direct government rule again because no other sane council in Britain would do something so stupid.

As I've said I still cant work out why the council are involved. I can only assume its from a social services point of view. An assessment for a family court application perhaps. There must be more to this story.

I've read a bit more about this and it makes a bit more sense.

The kid involved is known to social services as he is about to be involved in care proceedings. Social Services are required by law to inform all parties including a biological father who doesnt have PR. The father can apply for PR at any point it doesnt mean he will get it.

It's funny how the mother hasnt mentioned how her child is subject to care proceedings, maybe if she was a better mother and not cocking about with books it would be different.

Yet again that's the side from the woman who wrote a book and is having her kid taken into care.
