I used to detest playing in this competition prior to dropping into the National League, but now I?m quite looking forward to us taking part in it 👍
It was always a garbage competition and is even worse since the U21 teams appeared. The worst thing about being back in the EFL.
Are those rules still in place where L1/L2 are forced to field a minimum amount of 1st regulars? If so ironic when Prem/Champ clubs can field any thing they want in the League Cup. -

His signing was well documented on here last season well before he signed and he went on last seasons pre season training camp so it is looking extremely unlikely he?ll be back.
Little bit sad and disappointed by that in my own silly way.
I think Everton will want to take a look at him in preseason before he goes anywhere. Maybe that will be too late for PC if he wants to finalise such a crucial position. I wouldn?t want us to wait around till August waiting for him to become available. -

Clarke's interview cringe.
Blaming the ref and even his nationality.
Should look at himself and his team which delivered the lowest attempts on goal in the entire competition.
Makes Southgate's tactics look like Keegan's...
Thought he wasn?t a bad referee. Arguable penalty but Armstrong played for it instead of playing the ball and was clearly pulling the defenders shirt. Having said that I suspect a more fancied team would have got the penalty.
Clarke needs shot setting his team up like that when they needed a win. -
