chris brandon is on trial at port vale

and if the Vale message boards are to be believed

"We are apparently(according to the OVF rumour mill!) in talks with Right Back Andrew Whing of Brighton, was on loan at Chesterfield at the end of last season and they also want to sign him aswell!

They seem to pay better than us so will more than likely get him!"

That would make sense - as long as we don't play him in midfield again!

Whing didnt look like the answer to our RB woes. I'd have kept Picken over Gray or Whing.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

I still think there's more to be seen from Whing, perhaps he's someone who'd do better on a full time contract.

Or his player of the season award could be something of a harsley.

Marvin Robinson scored for Nantwich Town yesterday - he joined them last xmas and scored 9 goals in nine games last season - looks like he's resigned for them again this year
