The club are trying to establish exactly what the current situation is, what his motives are and what (if anything) he can offer Chesterfield FC.
He's not doing himself any favours though, tweeting statements/pictures claiming to be CFC's "owner" (even if he declares that's what directors are called in Arab Countries!) then deleting them when challenged.

Should they not have done that prior to CT trip to Kuwait?

Apparently Cfc are in the news on tv and in the papers each week over in Kuwait.
It would be nice for the club to come out and say what actually is happening with this guy....
...I'm told he's simply going to sell 'global' advertising on the new scoreboards. He thinks he can persuade multi-nationals that advertising at the Proact is a good idea. That's why he has been on telly with our brand. Whether he has contributed to the decision to invest in the new scoreboards and to the forecast of £100k income per annum remains to be seen.

He's neither a Director of the Club by office or by title.

Does Dave Allen know owt about it? If not, why not? Exactly how much has it cost our club in terms of foreign trips, phone calls and hospitality?
Either way it seems to be another in a series of embarrassing episodes for our CEO.

Yep. It would be a shame if allen was to sell. However, I can understand it if that's what he wants to do but I feel in dave Allen we have someone we can really trust for the foreseeable future.
He obviously has sustainable business at heart. I'd love nothing more than dave Allen to see his investement returned and him get huge dividends.
I do hope our future remains with Allen at large.im not sure I'd want us to become some others play thing.
