Complete, over the top farce. Who deemed it necessary? what factors in making this decision were considered? 2 teams playing none league football some 140 miles apart on a Tuesday night with no history of trouble warranted 10(?) security staff, 2 sniffer dogs, mobile body scanners, tables and trays to put pocket contents on. Do home fans have to suffer this indignity every game? they'd quickly get p'd off if they did.
It's a good job 2 bus loads didn't arrive with 5 minutes to KO could have been chaos, or would instructions have sensibley been ignored and fans waved through without checks?

A Woking fan should be asking why are we wasting this money when it could be invested in a mobile centre forward.

Had a moan on the Woking contact form about the searches being ott.
Got a nice but predictable reply - their safety policy etc etc.
Pity we won't be going back there any time soon. I like the long away terrace rather than being herded into a corner.

We must be an untrustworthy lot from up north, compared to the home fans who didn't have to suffer this indignity. A very high % of travelling fans were of the more mature age group and having to go through this rigmarole was pathetic. Is there a possibility that WFC entered into a contract with some security company to use these heavy handed tactics 'x' times a season and they wanted their monies worth?
