Grigg did next to nowt, but I'm not writing him off yet. He'll come good.
They both have a role to play.

They were down to 10 which played into the hands of our lads and they were bangjaxed by that time.
Thought young Cook had a reasonable game for them but may reflect on that first yellow.

His goal return hasn’t been great but he always puts a shift in and brings a lot to the team.
Some morons on here (jqid and zigs etc) never give him any credit and just judge him purely on goals per game like it’s a pc game.
Hopefully he can kick on from here and play a big part this season

The ‘morons’ are the ones who can’t understand that we would like him to do well as we do all CFC players. Hopefully he will now kick on. Like everyone I’m pleased for him. However I would remind everyone he had a relatively decent start to the season last year. Let’s hope it is sustained a little longer this year.

Got subbed on, got booked, got twisted up so badly by Colclough for our equaliser that he had to get treatment then got a second yellow and got sent off. Brilliant game Dave 😂

Nope you didn't misread it. I didn't hear what he said, but Quigs looked like he was about to confront him them thought better of it. The steward finally pushed the bloke? kid? away, but whatever he said it really peed Quigs off. That's why he came and celebrated right in front of him.
You could almost understand it if Joe had started the match and missed 20 chances, but he'd only been on 10 or so minutes and had got the ball about 3 times up to that point.
I'm surprised it took the stewards (there were 2 stood there), so long to take any action, it didn't even look like they said sit down, just let him stand there and say what he wanted.

Some of the stewards are kids them selves, they ain’t going to confront no one

Worth noting how visibly emotional he was too, just after scoring and the reaction of his team mates shows how well he is thought of in the squad.

He's frustrating to watch in the box, but I was over the moon for him yesterday, now lets see him kick on and score plenty of goals.

Let's start by getting behind him and not having every other post on every other thread having a go at him instead.
Exactly, he’s not going anywhere, PC obviously likes him or he wouldn’t be in the squad.
I’m happy to see him in the super sub role and he’s still young enough to turn into a decent lower football league striker.
Let’s face it, we’re not gonna run away with the league with this defence.
We could win this league by only 2 points next April and look back at the opening game Quigleys already made a valuable contribution.
