Nice touch from the FA for Regis , Armfield and Astori..looking forward to this...rather have Italy than Sweden in world cup.

Two big mistakes from stones, but did recover well on both occasions. Get them out the system before the WC.

Not with our tournament record against them.

We've had to miss out due to incompetence - it's about time another 'established' name did.

I blame diet to a degree if you play as a 3 man central midfield and you are the holder you have to show for the ball off the centre half he hid

He looked like he had been on the ale! Thought it was a foul on the 2nd mistake. He was very lucky.

Lucky indeed and after they showed the replay, it was a foul.

Alternativley clear the ball early and lessen the chance of being caught in posession on the edge of your own box

We need to send coaches, and hundreds of them abroad, to Italy to Spain to Germany to the USA so they can see how to coach footballers and make them into athletes rather than try to coach athletes to be footballers.
As fans we need to recognise the busty of keeping the ball. Look at how often some fans bemoaned cooks sideways passing as boring and preferred to boot it long to a big 6foot 6 lump etc
Unfortunately it’s just out football culture
A new hope.

Music to my ears...teach footballers to be athletes and not vice versa...can you tell Mark Smith that as well

Did anyone hear Sterling on talk sport wanting the fans to give England players more love and get behind them.

Had to listen to it a few times to see if he was being serious , and yes he was!!!

About time these over paid premadonnas produced for England on the pitch and then we might get behind them more.
