The National League have written to all member clubs asking them to vote if to postpone or cancel the play offs this season.
Further consultation will follow as to next steps once this decision has been made.
Our club has said they will be guided by the fans when casting their vote on Friday, so the poll will close at 8am on Friday (1st May)

If it is to be play offs then in the interests of being as fair as possible it should involve Barrow who are by no means certain of winning a 46 game league. The top 8 teams should be ranked on points per game. After that 1st should play 8th at home; 2nd v 7th at home; 3rd v 6th ; 4 v 5; (. 4 GAMES )
Winners of 1 v8. V Winners 4 v5 W 2v 7 V W 3 V 6. (2 GAMES ). 2WINNERS PROMOTED IF 2 GO UP
PLAY OFF ON NEUTRAL GROUND IF ONLY ONE UP
The above format gives the highest ranked teams the best chance but leaves the top 8 all with a chance.

What worries me about play-offs, is that if they have them for promotion, there's a strong case for having them for relegation

They can't do that as it's not in the rules whereas as the promotion one is, it's about deciding if these ought to still be played
