Can’t help but feel that’s a big loss, presume there’s no chance of getting Miguel Llera back?

As I recall didn’t Pemberyon replace Mark Smith? I don’t think Llera held the same position. Happy to be corrected.

Strange that this should happen after Dave Allen was shouting from the rooftops about how we have the best lower league set up with Sheridan, Snodin and Pemberton.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

The website article quotes Steve Coe as saying he's got a new role, but would better if they told us where, not sure why it should be a secret

still not sure why we spend money on an academy at our level, any real local talent will go to one of the local league clubs

plenty of lower league teams have scrapped their academies as an unwarranted expense and we should follow suit, not like it brings a huge amount of talent through to the first team is it? (Maguire and Rowley recently)

We'd be better off hoovering up cast offs from other academies and just having a reserve team instead

so lose them

surely the grants don't pay the entire running costs, so scrapping it would make a saving

Back to Sheff U? He did a lot of good work there previously.

Perhaps he is making way for a new Academy Manager appointed from within....

From the impression he made during his 3 game caretaker role, he has the makings of a good manager....so wouldn't be surprised if his next job is of Manager

There were ruminations on here about GS moving on if he got a better offer. I woudn't have thought JS would want to lose them both so he might want to make sure he doesn't go.
Just speculation based on common sense.

I think there is some talk that if Grayson was to get another job then Snodin may join him.
