It will be a struggle the players need to have a long hard look at themselves they must shoulder some of the blame

I personally believe for what it's worth that Saturdays result was intentional by the players and achieved it's aim

Then they should pay the fans' their money back. So called professionals.
In any case, removing Saunders is window dressing. Those who should really be held to account are still occupying the same seats.

As someone else said, they have got rid of 40% of the problem! but the larger behind the scenes problems remain

And while ever that remains, the best case scenario is we apply a sticking plaster to a gaping wound. I fear longer term damage is being done by our derailment in the last six months. We're utterly rudderless and that fact will be instantly recognisable to any managerial candidate of the calibre needed.

I don't care if DS had lost the dressing room, or whether the team were playing alien tactics. Once a Professional Footballer received a ball he should still play with Pride, Passion, Enthusiasm and Guts. I've played at most levels and under some dodgy managers but I still gave 100% for as long as I could and that is where some of the blame should lay.
Surely as a Professional they are always in the Shop window and with the performances and results come Bonuses. It doesn't matter if it was DS in charge or Alex F, Jose M or Arsen V, those players still have a responsibility to the Club, the Fans and themselves.

Is there any hard evidence for this? Serious question, as I thought the issue of him leaving, was more just supporters mooting same for discussion.
