We’re so lucky to have him, best manager outside the Championship.

Paul Cook's enthusiasm should be bottled and put on prescription for the likes of Saunders and Caldwell. But it's not just that, it's his excellent man management, his knowledge of the game, his tactics, being able to attract high quality players, his relationship with the supporters, his love for the club, and most of all, he manages our team. Can we get rid of that excuse for a sculpture at Horns Bridge roundabout and stick a bronze Cookie there instead 😂.

Anybody who has sniped at him and the players because of the recent poor run needs to listen to this and hang your heads in shame

What a bloke what a manager what a team everything he said here makes perfect sense

At one point we thought we could be stuck in this god forsaken league for years and years and these players won it in January

Cannot wait for tomorrow and to see what next season brings 💙

How good is it that he can deliver his summary of the season with humour? Often sorely needed on this board.

It always reminds me of the Major Oak. What could be worse?

Erm yuk, I've never looked at it that way, anyone got a spare stick or two of dynamite. If we have three we could do five quid's worth of damaged to the three sided shed too 😁.

Don't like mentioning his name here, but watched Evans' post re-appointment interview slithering in superficial and cynically self serving sycophancy last evening.

A more mercenary hypocrite you will not find.

Contrast that with Paul Cook's invariably engaging integrity. He's ambitious, of course he is, and it'd be beyond absurd to think he'd never pursue opportunities beyond our scope. However whilst ever he's here, our club will only improve...

PS: in future, whenever the usual suspects peddle their sniping scorn, I suggest we simply post a link to this interview...

Well said, mate.

I simply laugh at the minority on here who choose to pick fault and think we can do better than Paul Cook.

Make no mistake, we are in an extremely fortunate position. I'm really looking forward to today to see what we've got planned and to hopefully witness another record being broken...

Great manager , but why shoulds fans hang their heads in shame , i pay to watch my team win and if they lose , i hope they lose going out on their shield, the last few games ( maybe not the last one) has been very substandard of what we are capable of, i hope Cookie is ruthless in his selections for next season, players released wont have any problems getting new teams
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

I pay to support my team, not "watch them win." We're all different I suppose.

I very much doubt that we'll be releasing players who are under contract for next season.
