You don't offer someone a new contract when you're clearly, clearly romping the league if you have no intention of using them in the division above. This will have all been planned for (like or or not) so just relax and enjoy it.

I would have thought that Cook learned a great deal of new info when Grigg, for the first time in the season, was not available for the last handful of games.

I think Naylor would be better partnered with a defensive midfielder to the left of him, we need another LB and a left-sided CB.

I agree, and promise not to post any rumours about keggies as it might upset current squad players.

friend of mine is usually in the know about future signings as he has a connection in the club. He told me that a) madden has been offered a 2 year deal b) we are close to agreeing brown on loan from derby and c) talks taking place with ex pompey midfielder lee evans who was released last week

At the moment we've only got 2 left footed players in the squad. It'd be lovely if the odd rumour included a keggy.

Both games behind closed doors; he conceded three in each.

Hmmmm. Not Maguire's finest ever display either. Jamie Grimes was talking this week about being determined not to be a 'nearly man'. The cap fits Loz for his CFC career. It will be interesting to see whether the Crawley manager considers Loz to be L1 standard if they get promoted, as he presumably retains the option of not offering him a contract. I sincerely hope everybody gains from this.

    Doubt that’s not his remit.

I too doubt it's not his remit.
