All I can say is that if he does have a son he might be younger and taller but I’m getting close to my 80th and I reckon I could still be faster.

I'd be very surprised if one or two players didn't go for a fee, and it may not be who we think either. We have some decent National League ready players who will attract interest from those who are destined for another year in the cesspit. Obviously we may use one of our contracted players as a sweetener on an incoming player. Happy times to be a Spireite.

If Spireites’ advice to Cook is to sign a load of 30 years old plus players heading towards a final pay day, we will finish up with the oldest squad in the Football League. That will be a disaster.

Morsy will captain Ipswich whether they go up or not next season. Cooper would be a real worry because of injuries. Which leaves Clucas, who I wouldn't mind seeing back for a season plus option for another.
We have to get some young blood in with potential and that's why I keep mentioning Freckleton. We're hardly going to make money out of 30+ year old players, and for us to have that experience in the team we need younger players to bring on. A sustainable climb up the divisions will do for me, oh gawd I'm sounding like the chancellor 😆😆😆.
