Find the post where I said you said they were a “fantastic team” …. I just said you were praising them.

By putting the words fantastic team in inverted commas you were implying you were quoting him.

Talking about tonight’s games, I’ve unfortunately watched a very poor 1st half between Alfreton & Boston. Tbf Boston have tried to play football but totally trounced on by the big boot. I’ve seen and played better football than what is served by Alfreton. Saying that both teams trying to create chances from long throws. Had enough I’ll be tuning into the Braintree game 2nd half.

Alfreton (or should I say Alfton) are a real throwback - complete hoof-ball merchants. It is a truly awful watch but also has a strange fascination. Just the type of opposition that would turn us over if our paths ever cross.

Donnie, at 4-1 up, on their way to a 10h win in succession. From being near the bottom they have moved for the first time into a play off spot- in fact 5th place with one game to go.

Colchester being trounced tonight. Can see Sutton pulling off the great escape on Saturday on goal difference looking at the fixtures on the final day.

Hats off to McCann at Doncaster, to win 10 consecutive games in a row is some achievement

Good win for Cheltenham tonight. Nothing against them as they are my local team but having them in L2 will be very handy for me!!

Just hearing that Phil Brown is there sussing out what's in store for Kidderminster next season. He's signed a 2 year deal. Poor sod.

Buggered up one of the players stag do plans apparently, was due to jet out to Arizona with a few team mates but had to cancel due to their potential involvement in the play offs now.

10 wins in succession at the end of the season for a team near the bottom of the league, I would think is the greatest ever EFL end of season run. Barnsley’s 15/16 finish, when they took 28 points from the last 33 seems to have been the previous pinnacle.

I thought it was him !
If Alfreton had scored from best chance in game close to end of normal time would not have needed e/t and pens !!

Looked harder to miss.

You notice Jacob Hazel come on for Boston in the second half?

Although it was an awful game and I don’t think either side would have scored if they were still playing now, after the first 20 minutes or so when Boston looked fairly good on the ball, I thought Alfreton created the better chances and should have won it.

Alfreton have punched well above their weight again this season and when you consider Boston field players like Michael Bostwick (500 or so EFL appearances), Martin Woods (250 or so EFL and Scottish FL appearances) and Zac Mills (over 100 EFL appearances), Alfreton do extremely well with what they’ve got to work with.

That Centre forward for Alfreton lastnight was just awful. Hardly won a ball all night and when he went off they played much better.

****** Solihull 2-0 in the lead

Noticed they done what a lot of squalid clubs do at this level and crammed the Halifax fans into half the standing area presumably so their fans can wander around at HT and fill the other half. Wonder if that’ll happen in the EFL if they gain promotion. Perhaps the EFL should look at this shower more closely.

Now 3-0 after a disastrous OG. I can see this lot winning the playoffs and joining us in the EFL

Tuning into the Liverpool derby now, that’s how disappointed I am
