Yep but for some reason seems to be struggling to be seen as one in the main public eye even with the greater coverage Cycling has these days. There will be those that say he isnt really british etc but he's now up there with the Tour greats in terms of victories and if he goes on to win the Vuelta later this year he should be nailed on for Sports Personality but probably wont. Hard to look past him for the Tour next year again as it stands barring injuries etc....they threw everything at him this year and he's still won it. Top rider with a very strong team behind him makes him difficult to beat.

Assuming Dumoulin rides next year then his team will be interesting. Barguil, Dumoulin, Cummings and Michael Matthews.
