Dave what business is it of anyone how much John Croot earns a year ?
He is employed by the Community Trust not CFC and I'm sure he will be paid a similar salary to others in a comparable position with what is essentially a charitable trust.
John must be commended for the time and effort he puts in.
He probably puts in a damn sight more time that many in that position.
When I first started the thread about his resignation from his director position at the trust it was meant to be no more than putting the information out there.
However a few people seem to have read something more into this,I really don't know why or for what reason ?
At a time when there are so many things wrong at our club John who I have known for many, many years is one of a few people at CFC I would put my trust in.
So how about getting off his case and let him carry on doing a good job.
Regards Nigel.
There's far more important things at CFC to worry about.

50k a year is not going to put him in a position to help the club financially, so the implied criticism is entirely unjustified.

Dave, not every member of a board of directors is actually there for their financial contribution.
Many board members throughout the country are actually there for their expertise in various areas for example finance, legal advice, etc.
Many years ago Barry Watson held a directors position at CFC,once again that was not because of his financial contribution.
John if I am correct initially represented the CFFS.

£961 a week then Dave, a lot less than almost every key player and management team, hey! If I'm honest, 50k per year for a Director of anything is not that great.

It's not ridiculous, it's fuçking laughable. Sorry Croot, your £50k salary is not be used towards your mortgage, bills, savings or children's inheritance. It's to be immediately put in the football club with no real chance of getting it back. Naive, fickle football fans boil my piśs!

Dave, once again I repeat he doesn't receive his salary from the football club.
He is employed by the Community Trust.
