To be honest I won’t be that bothered if it’s off, looking at how bad their pitch is already.

If it’s going to rain then stop, why can’t they put a bluddy gret sheet of plastic down for a couple of hours?

Because if the dimensions on the football ground guide site are right they will need some plastic that is 110 x 76 yards in size and doubt they've got that laying around!

Ours isnt heavy and muddy, its cut up and bobbly making it crap for us passing it about but its not heavy. It would need to hold a load of water to get heavy and it just doesnt do that.

a) Don’t go to games
b) Wanted to be out of the Trophy to stop fixture congestion?

As I said on the Halifax thread, I think it's best if its off. Rochdale are off tonight so will be coming into Saturdays game fresh whereby we will be a bit "leggy" if playing on the mudfheap tonight. We could therefore suffer a double whammy before going to barnet next week. And dropping out the trophy means there are days in march available.

“don’t get me wrong it’s heavy in the middle of the pitch, but it’s playable. We played the last two games in this condition, and it’s Cracking flags here at the moment, and haven’t had much rain since Saturday and can’t see it raining today. If it’s called off it be a joke.”
