I personally think that Jacob's contract plays a big part in this. It's not clear from the DT article whether he is or is not OOC, but if he's here next year we can't just say more options are ideal, there's also the spend required to accommodate this. If Jacobs is released then we can easily afford CC, if he isn't, it's problematic imo.

Another endearing slant on this is that I think (from Youtube) that CC very much looks up to Will Grigg.

Tend to agree Dave, Jacobs only arrived i believe as a potential deal for Sbarra was scuppered by injury and his health issues last summer
Jacobs to be fair has shown some great touches etc but isnt in my preffered starting XI if others are available largely down to him being not the quickest
It will be interesting to see if the club take up the option for a further year

It set me thinking that Harley Curtis should be given a chance on the basis that if KD says he can play, he can play. Maybe not as a sole striker but off the striker - not summat we've done this season.

I would be inclined to agree but his time at King Lynn this season and his previous loan spell at Braintree whilst with Ipswich he didnt set the worls on fire
My limited viewings of him hardly suggest otherwise either

Not sure how I've managed to miss this thread as I've been banging a drum about the board and moving it forward.

Out of interest who actually owns the board, e.g. if someone wanted to sue because of the content here who would they send a letter to? Not saying anyone wants to do this but organisationally it does feel like somone needs to step and take control of the board and be responsible for it as whole rather than well meaning custodians. No offence meant here at all, for the most part looking after this board is a thankless task.

I've offered to help financially and my offer still stands but that needs to be part of a coherent plan to move the board forward and deal with cert issues etc.

The CFSS did but they no longer exist hence one of the reasons to sort ta new message board out
