the reason allegedly why he didnt come was because he wanted frank barlow as his number two make of it what you will but guess what it was declined suprise suprise

I think that was touted when he was interviewed at the time Nicky Law got the job......Old news...... In fact very old news.

Also the fact he wanted a largish behind the scenes squad which of course would have meant less money for DB to acquire for himself assuming he would have paid them which clearly he decided not to

He was never in the frame this time round. The Frank Barlow thing was 8+ years ago

Given his reasons for frustration at Hartlepool (lack of commitment and cash from the board) why the hell did anyone expect him to be on his way to Saltergate?

wilson was never offered the job and dosent even want the job of manager at town,he is evidently not remotely interested and that came from a close friend of his,it was never going to happen
