...Releasing Reuben Hazell.

I was at Huddersfield Vs. Oldham today (don't ask!) and 'Roob' was as assured and composed as I remember. I still can't get over how Rico let him go! Am I correct in thinking he said 'he isn't suited to League Two'd style of football'? Hmm...

Oh, and Mark Allott was immense too, but he chose to go, so fair dooze. But check out his goal if you can, reminded me of his incredible volley against Stockport.

The most depressing thing was that it was hardly two season's ago that the two of them were at Saltergate, but now it feels like a lifetime ago...

I was at Huddersfield v Hereford last month (don't ask either!) and was frightened and concerned by the very obvious difference in quality of football between what I saw there vs what I've seen most matches at Saltergate

I was at that one too. Unfortunately, I have to see more of them than us nowadays!

You're right, their midfield on that day would have completely overrun ours. Their tactics (3-5-2 with full backs) were creative and innovative, using a defensive midfielder the way they should be used, with everyone completely understanding their role in the team. Both of these we will never see under a Rico regime.

The proplem with RICO is that he doesn't know the difference between a good or bad player!wev'e lost good players Kovacs, Allott as you mentioned,Rooney,Batiste,Maloney, etc etc and then we signed quality like Currie,Austin,Page,Robertson,Kerry,Winter,Harsley .....the list goes on.At the end end of the day this is Rico's squad and it is one of the poorest iv'e personally seen in 33 years of going to Saltergate.

Letting Reuben go I agree was one of his biggest gaffs.... and his reasoning was enough to concern us..
When we went down, defence was never the issue...we were one of the tightest back fours in the league... the problem was not scoring...
So he decided to get 'his defence', we cant keep a clean sheet for toffee....

taking his one shining light out of the equation, has he signed anyone that has improved the side?

Error upon error upon error...... and ive pretty much had enough

Disagree Rico's only mistake was ever thinking he could be a manager in the first place
