Ipswich are also calling for the managers head Maggilton out sign! Abit like are selves but if they go a goal down expect the `Magilton out` fan club to start and hopefully they will get there heads down like we do most games. They lack pace at the back and i hope Wardy takes full advantage of this.
Hopefully they will no `RICO OUTS` as this is a cup game that we shouldnt really be in and we are the massive underdogs.
I predict a 1-0 win and Lowry to get it as he's dew a goal but anyway its going to be a really good day out!

good point, id be abit upset to here them 2moro. really looking forward to the game and hoping for a gud result (2-1 to town). i hope the fans (should hope to see 1500) really get behind the players tomorrow as this is the only chance we get this season to be in the spotlight the players will be up for it and i hope to see some good football tomorrow

We must approach the game in the same way Droylsden did to us... chase everything down and not let them settle... give them time on the ball and theyll stroll it.

Should play 4-5-1 2moro with ward feeding of bowden(if he plays). our weakness will of course be midfield and with currie out we will struggle but i hope the pace of ward will win us victory and quarter-2-5 tomorrow.

The midfield was poor at Darlo. apart from the Luton game Kerry has struggled, Robertson (Ricco's blue eyed boy is the weak link). If Goodall is available then we need his grit along with Currie, Lowery and Winter. I was not impressed with Boden he's too lightweight and doesn't seem to have any pace, I'd rather see Bowery or Algar up front with Wardy as long as we play the ball to feet.
I'm hoping to see us win tomorrow but realistically whilst Ricco is still in charge, I'll settle for a battling performance where we play some good football to feet and creating as many chances as possible. Do this and the 1000 or so fans will have had a good day. We do have the players capable of giving Ipswich a run for their money, but its the team selection and same old negative tactics from our managerial team that concerns me most.
Good luck to the players and fans tomorrow and lets hope we have an enjoyable day out no matter what the result.

I could see us getting badly spanked today. In all probability, two nil down at half time and then the game drifts past and we end up with Downes up front with Ward.

I predicted to friends that we'd have one of those "Crap in the league, but somehow worldbeaters in the cup" seasons.
But to be honest we should get thrashed. You know i can see us winning this one, but i think we need Ipswich to not turn up, i mean with their record they'll be nervous about today. And Wardy can capitalise on a nervous defence.
If we put up a performance like we did against Preston, i think we can do it, because Preston are more solid at the back.
Keep that Haynes lad on a leesh, and a big influence in their side is gone.

That's the kind of luck we need today.

Should be interesting.
By the way, it seems that Ipswich have a fifteen year old on the bench, today.

Darren Currie - skilfull, but never had pace and some ITFC fans turned against him due to an alleged lack of work rate.
Town - won't be defensive and ITFC should be wary of Ward.
