Ah well, not the pay day we thought, perhaps.

Perhaps not...but i'd rather they feel a bit of pressure from 8,000 drunk off fans than be cheered to the rafters by 17,000....especially if we can keep this up and maybe progress!

More than we'd have got at Brentford, though.
If you have laughs, prepare to laugh them now:
Forest Green 1 Derby 0
2-0!!

The ball is delivered by Gregor Robertson.
19:19
Kevin Austin crosses the ball, Gareth McAuley manages to make a clearance.
We've obviously got a championship standard left side.

I'm impressed with Chesterfield...playing some nice football...why are they only thirteenth in the league...but Ipswich have to get the ball on the floor and stop letting the two (Town) center half's intercept everything.
Game of few chances, suffice to say.

Next to Wardy, Jimmy Krankie looks six foot!
Seriously though, Ward seems to be more than able against Championship opposition...

Increased pressure from the home side, though.
Quote: "Scouts are watching Ward and he won't be at Chesterfield much longer"
Then, amazingly: "i'm more impressed with Boden than Ward"!?!

The commentators seem to be really impressed with us today.
Sounds like Ward and Boden are linking up well. Could we have found the 3rd striker that we have been looking for all season? Rico should have given him a chance earlier in the season instead of keep putting Tex on the bench when he clearly was not upto it.

Boos from the home fans, praise for Town from Beattie and the pundit.
They're impressed with Downes, Ward and Boden, but more than that our work ethic.
That said though it appears that Ipswich are being too 'direct', and the opinion on Radio Suffolk is that their midfield should become more involved.
Sounds familiar in a quirky kind of way.....
Credit where credit's due, though.

Too early for the R word?
