I really believe Barry will finally do the correct thing and out Richardson once and for all! Simple facts are Chesterfield cannot survive on the current gates. Boxing day only 3438 home supporters, does that not say everything-must be the poorest saltergate boxing gate attendance ever. I am a season ticket holder and have been for many years both home and away but I have not been to watch for three weeks, instead I have given away my ticket each week. This was a decision I didn't take lightly but I'm absolutely sick of the current management. Lee Richardson was given a great budget, but has put together a team that is simply not good enough for this league (or non-league football, if the result against Droylesdon is anything to go by). The product at saltergate is simply not good entertainment, but sheer rubbish. Whilst the club has had my £300 upfront I would sooner do overtime at work on saturdays than watch the rubbish being dished up! I guess as the club has recieved my money little attention would ever be made about my comments (or infact anyone else's) - but how long can the club ignore longterm supporters ?-who are the bread and butter of any club.
I wish the team good luck against Ipswich and hope for good news from hubbard on the 3rd, news that Richardson and his sidekicks have left the club. If not I fear the club will only go one way, the same way as our local rivals...non-league (thats if we can survive on current gates)

to be honest, i think Rico's role in the club is secure until the end of the season. unless the club is on the verge of meltdown, hubbard wil keep him in control. i heard somewere that our break-even point at saltergate is 4100. hubbard (and Rico) will have to take drastic action so that our circumstances dont go from bad to worse.

your post says jan 3rd what is the significance in that date

if you listen to his interview hubbard didnt say there would be any change then

all he said was that nothing would be done before then

there is no suggestion that hubbard will consider sacking him. the date i like many others think is purely the date he returns from his holiday

as he likes to keep himself up to datewith the clubs progress where ever he may be.

we might as well laugh about it because he is turning our club into a comic sketch affair

With the number of fixtures, a change at Christmas was never on the cards. BH will have mentioned the 3rd as it gives him a full 'free' week to implement any changes.

I took a guy with me Boxing day and he usually watchs Liverpool and lives in Donny so on occasions also goes there interesting to hear an outside verdict He thought we were unorganised weak in defence no midfield and had nothing to offer but the long punt forward Just his opinion obviously but I couldnt argue with him.

Well, the third has come and gone, and what've we heard....?

All i can suggest is that we misheard Hubbard.

Yeah, instead of him saying "nothing will happen 'til the third of January", what he really said was "nothing will happen whilst i'm still Chairman".
