In rugby the referee calls time off if he considers the stoppage may be a littleon the long side or play acting. The game starts again when he says time on. Checked this with my gandson who is a rugby referee & they are instructed when first training this is the correct prcedure. Often they signal this action by raising his/her arm & pointing to their watch. Football ought to adapt this.
How about a mandatory clock in the ground which the 4th official stops every time there is an injury. Everyone can see it. It makes things fairer. -

And there lies the crux, we don't.
And that's why PC gets cautioned so often remonstrating with the 4th offical that they he officials aren't doing their job ie letting teams get away with sh..housery
All this shathousery is nearly as crooked as politics and all those meritricious dribblers.
People are occasionally banging on about moaning cos we lost. If we'd have been 2-0 up, their 'keeper of the darkest of dark arts' would have been miraculously cured of all ills. -

An in play clock stopped and started by the 4th official … he'd stop it when the balls out of play, basically when the balls off the pitch before a throw in and corners, for player injuries and for substitutions…. That would sort it.. and result in a perfect 90 mins of match play.
One of the better ideas amongst good 'uns on here. It's really that simple. If you went to a cinema and only saw 1hr 35 of a 1hr 50 movie - there's be issues. Likewise having7/8 of a pint of lager. -

The ref yesterday kept turning his back and walking away from everything, probably so he could say " l didn't see anything". Poor refereeing
There needs to be a mandatory 5 mins for this going down when nobody's near you when winning thing. Yesterdays added time should have been at least 10 mins. Poor value for money. -

Amount of shit I saw on Facebook about their keeper and all we can bring up is 'where's your water bottle'. It's embarrassing, he's had so many people on strings. Grown men bragging about how they had a 20 odd year olds water bottle. You never grow looking at everyone else, time to look at why we lost and it wasn't because the ref or their keeper wasting time
Fair enough but that's a separate issue
