As an idea, it's laughable that it's been rolled out at the eleventh hour as part of a general election campaign.
However, if it were to form part of a rejigged education syllabus with the specific aim of equipping young people with life skills and hopefully preventing them from going down a route that so many do, I'm not convinced it is a bad idea. It might not be a significant problem in your neighbourhood or mine, but in some areas home life and the education system is failing them. Teachers know it's a problem, so do youth workers, employers, the police and the probation service.
I think we're a long way from having a political party with the appetite to tackle the education system, employment, crime, and many other issues which are more than evident in society.
Bang on..
Certainly not with the two parties that have vowed for power for years and years.
This country needs a new, fresh thinking party ( Infact its desperate for it ) or else we will continue down the same road, bringing wealth to the already rich and poor to the already poor. -

No idea if he is or not, but which bits do u disagree with? Do you doubt that there are British, French, US special forces, ie NATO forces, on the ground in Ukraine? Is it just a weapons supply chain? Are the Ukranians being trained in the use of these high tech weapons in just a few short months or are they receiving hands on help?
After watching the video he makes a lot of sense.
The real question is however, would we want to be at war with Russia?
I very much doubt it.
We no longer have the man power to fight a war on a grand scale thanks to various governments since Maggie was in power in the 80?s.
Infact we?d have all on manning a fleet of destroyers?.. -

Very understandable re the Rwanda plan view. ?Smashing the gangs? ..yep worked wlll with the drug gangs didn?t it? The means to stop illegal immigration will need to be tough, the Rwanda plan is that, and like you say many agree with it, great start for Starmer if he ditches Rwanda on his first day in office when it?s showing signs of working.
Oh and just for election clarification I am extremely anti Labour.
Whether you?re ?anti Labour? or not, this country needs a change now to the political system or we are in big trouble..
The days of ? my grandad voted Labour so I will ? have gone.
Both lead parties will run this country into the ground ( Sunak?s crew have made a decent fist of that for the last 14 years )
We need a change and we need it on July the 4th?
