I think it's fair to conclude the potential purchasers were very serious. What only a select number know is how much DA knew about it.

I'm pretty sure there're quite a few folk in Chesterfield who could buy the Club.
Infact unless 'Zorro' is lying - which I'm certain he isn't - there was such a bid being prepared until this very week.
However whether they want to pay what Allen's asking is an entirely different matter. Or embrace the outgoings effected by yet more recent hiring and firing.
So whilst the owner seems to sneer and insult I'd say others are simply demonstrating sound business sense.
The sound business sense which might've prevented a two million debt becoming a ten million one...
Infact unless 'Zorro' is lying - which I'm certain he isn't - there was such a bid being prepared until this very week.
However whether they want to pay what Allen's asking is an entirely different matter. Or embrace the outgoings effected by yet more recent hiring and firing.
